In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting La Cueva Bears volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Capital Jaguars.

The Bears (21-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons come into the 5A District 2 challenge with a 14-7 record. In their last challenge, Santa Fe beat Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars play the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, November 4. Capital will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
