New Oxford Colonials (New Oxford, PA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the host South Western Mustangs (Hanover, PA), 16-11 in a league battle.

With the victory, New Oxford advances its record to 10-2 on the season. The Colonials host Susquehannock (Glen Rock, PA) to encounter the Warriors in a York Area 1 battle on Tuesday, April 28. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 6-8. Susquehannock lost 7-6 in their recent league battle against Kennard-Dale (Fawn Grove, PA)

The Mustangs now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hempfield for a non-league battle on Friday, April 24. South Western will encounter a Black Knights team coming off a 9-7 league win over Cedar Crest (Lebanon, PA). The Black Knights record now stands at 6-6.
