Next, the Cougars clash with the Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI) in a Division II test, on Thursday, January 23. North Providence will attempt to upgrade on its 12-1 season record. The Islanders come into the test with a 4-8 record after their 73-47 league loss to Moses Brown (Providence, RI).

The Chargers (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons come into the Division II test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Cranston West bounced South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 52-48, in a league test.
