The Mt. Hope Huskies held off the host Narragansett Mariners lacrosse team by a tally of 8-7 in Monday's league game.

Next up, the Huskies play the Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 20. Mt. Hope will attempt to improve on its 16-2 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 13-3 record after their 15-6 league win over Middletown (Middletown, RI).

The Mariners (12-5) will now prepare for their game against Providence Country Day (East Providence, RI). The Knights come into the Division 3 game with a 7-7 record. In their last game, Providence Country Day was tipped by Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 11-4, in a league game.
