The Westview Chargers edged the visiting Covington Chargers football team by a margin of 40-34 in Friday's non-league test.
The Chargers now sport a 13-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gatlinburg-Pittman for a non-league test on Friday, December 5. Westview will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 23-20 non-league win over Tyner Academy (Chattanooga, TN). The Highlanders record now stands at 14-0.
With the defeat, Covington drops to 12-2 on the year.
