The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Sequatchie County Indians (Dunlap, TN) and the visiting Walker Valley Mustangs (Cleveland, TN), witnessed Sequatchie County's football squad edge Walker Valley by a tally of 7-2.

The Indians (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Giles County (Pulaski, TN). The Bobcats enter the 3A Region 4 contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Giles County got by Forrest (Chapel Hill, TN), 46-28, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Mustangs battle the Rhea County Golden Eagles (Evensville, TN) in a 5A Region 3 contest, on Friday, October 31. Walker Valley will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the contest with a 8-1 record after their 34-6 league win over McMinn County (Athens, TN).
