The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the IDEA Riverview Rockets (Brownsville, TX) and the visiting Progreso Red Ants (Progreso, TX), observed IDEA Riverview's basketball team overwhelm Progreso by a score of 72-33.

The Rockets (16-12) will now prepare for their battle against IDEA Sports Park (Brownsville, TX). The Stingrays enter the 3A Region IV District 32 battle with a 25-5 record. In their last battle, IDEA Sports Park walloped Raymondville (Raymondville, TX), 66-58, in a league battle.

The Red Ants now own a 4-25 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lyford for a 3A Region IV District 32 battle on Monday, February 16. Progreso will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 73-31 league win over IDEA Frontier College Prep (Brownsville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 27-7.
