The La Grange Leopards felled the host Caldwell Hornets football team by a score of 48-27 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Leopards face the Giddings Buffaloes (Giddings, TX) in a 4A-2 Region III District 11 challenge, on Friday, October 31. La Grange will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Buffaloes go into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 49-14 league loss to Bellville (Bellville, TX).

The Hornets (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sealy (Sealy, TX). The Tigers go into the 4A-2 Region III District 11 challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Sealy toppled Madisonville (Madisonville, TX), 42-10, in a league challenge.
