The Cuero Gobblers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting San Antonio Memorial Minutemen to 0 in the Gobblers league victory on Friday.

The Gobblers now possess a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to John F. Kennedy for a 4A Region IV District 28 game on Tuesday, September 20. Cuero will meet a Rockets team coming off a 3-1 league loss to San Antonio Memorial (San Antonio, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 6-17.

The Minutemen (6-24) will now prepare for their game against Gonzales (Gonzales, TX). The Apaches enter the 4A Region IV District 28 game with a 9-17 record. In their last game, Gonzales was dropped by Young Women's Leadership Academy (San Antonio, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
