With the win, Highlands upgrades its record to 23-10 on the year. The Owls host Lanier (San Antonio, TX) to play the Voks in a 5A Region IV District 27 bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Voks go into the bout with a record of 6-23. Lanier lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX)

The Mustangs now own a 8-28 record. They play next when they travel to MacArthur for a 5A Region IV District 27 bout on Tuesday, October 11. Jefferson will play a Brahmas squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Edison (San Antonio, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 18-19.
