Tompkins Falcons (Katy, TX) boosters were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Seven Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Falcons (24-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Katy (Katy, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region III District 19 challenge with a 6-16 record. In their last challenge, Katy was beaten by Paetow (Katy, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Mayde Creek Rams (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 19 challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Seven Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 17-8 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 13-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX).
