In Monday's league test, the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) basketball squad trounced the visiting Oxbow Olympians (Bradford, VT), by a score of 57-34.

Next up, the Falcons meet the Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT) in a Capital battle, on Wednesday, February 18. North Country Union will attempt to advance on its 17-2 season record. The Lancers enter the battle with a 18-0 record after their 53-50 league win over Spaulding (Barre, VT).

The Olympians now own a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montpelier for a Capital challenge on Wednesday, February 18. Oxbow will encounter a Solons team coming off a 85-34 non-league loss to Hartford (White River Junction, VT). The Solons record now stands at 1-15.
