In Saturday's non-league outing, the Brownstown Central Braves (Brownstown, IN) basketball squad nipped the host Providence Pioneers (Clarksville, IN), by a margin of 44-42.

The Braves (22-4) will now prepare for their outing against Southwestern (Hanover, IN). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 21-3 record. In their last outing, Southwestern got by Henryville (Henryville, IN), 59-53, in a non-league outing.

The Pioneers now own a 19-5 record.
