Posted: Sat, Oct 08 2011 Congratulations to Kayla Hansen for being selected as Player of the Week. Kayla has been solid all through this homecoming week! Her passing has been near perfect w/ only 6 errors on 50 attempts. Her precision w/ her passing and defense keeps the ball in system and she should be credited for setting up our setters for success on Aspen's explosive attack! 17 digs v. Gunnison! Kayla controls the back line w/ her solid communication skills and always make her defensive prowess known, averaging over 2.6 digs per game! Her serving has given opposing teams so much trouble! 105 digs, 18 aces on the season and she serves in 92% of the time! GO KAYLA! Your leadership has been impressive!
