Congratulations to Lauren Wells for being selected as Player of the Year. As a freshman Lauren earned All-Ambassador League first team honors (as voted on by the coaches) by averaging 2.5 kills and also adding 3.1 digs per league set played!On the year she averaged 2.5 kills per set on a .251% hitting percentage and 2.7 digs per set.

Woodcrest moved to 6-2 on the season and a third place finish at the Mesa Grande Tournament behind Laurens .364% hitting percentage for the week.She also added 3.8 digs per match on defense.Special Mention for this week goes to Becky Collier-in the third place match against Escondido Adventist Academy she had 6 kills on 11 attempts with no errors.The Royals resume Ambassador League play on Tuesday night at home against Ontario Christian.View Previous Selections

Natalie led Woodcrest to a Baptist Christian tournament title by hitting .250% (10 kills,28 attempts,3 errors) along with 16 aces and 15 aces.She was selected tournament MVP.Special mentions go to:Lauren Wells who earned all-tournament honors by hitting .356% for the week (26 kills,45 attempts,10 errors) and adding 13 digs 2 aces.Becky Collier was also named all-tournament for hitting .458% (24 kills,48 attempts,2 errors) along with adding 19 digs and 13 aces.View Previous Selections
