In Thursday's non-league game, the host Center Cougars baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Rio Linda Knights.

The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Benicia (Benicia, CA). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Benicia tipped Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA), 4-1, in a non-league game.
