California High School Basketball - Servite knocked off by Santa Margarita
February 9, 2016: Anaheim, CA 92801 The Santa Margarita Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Servite Friars to 49 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orange Lutheran for a Trinity contest on Thursday, February 11. Santa Margarita will battle a Lancers team coming off a 67-51 league loss to Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 20-6.
The Friars (13-14) will now prepare for their contest against JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Lions enter the Trinity contest with a 16-9 record. In their last contest, JSerra Catholic ran past St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA), 64-60, in a league contest.
