Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Saxons (Torrance, CA) and the visiting Torrance Tartars (Torrance, CA), saw North's basketball squad knock off Torrance by a score of 43-30.

With the victory, North improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Saxons travel to South (Torrance, CA) to battle the Spartans in a Pioneer challenge on Tuesday, February 10. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. South lost 49-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Lutheran (Orange, CA)

Next up, the Tartars battle the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) in a Pioneer challenge, on Thursday, February 12. Torrance will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record.
