Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Millard North Mustangs (Omaha, NE), 61-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Millard South upgrades its record to 12-11 on the season. The Patriots travel to Pius X (Lincoln, NE) to clash with the Thunderbolts in a non-league bout on Monday, February 27. The Thunderbolts go into the bout with a record of 21-2. Pius X won 75-25 in their recent league bout against North Platte (North Platte, NE)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) in a A District TBD bout, on Tuesday, February 28. Millard North will attempt to upgrade on its 13-10 season record. The Thunderbolts go into the bout with a 21-3 record after their 53-46 non-league loss to Millard South (Omaha, NE).
