Georgia High School Basketball - Stephenson fells Alcovy
December 29, 2010: Covington, GA 30014 Stephenson Jaguars (Stone Mountain, GA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA), 39-23 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Stephenson upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars host King (Lithonia, GA) to play the Lions in a 2-AAAAA bout on Friday, January 7. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 1-4. King lost 55-38 in their recent non-league bout against Chamblee (Chamblee, GA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA) in a 3-AAAA bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Alcovy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.
