Virginia High School Volleyball - Langley over Yorktown

Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Saxons clash with the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) in a Class 6 Region D match, on Tuesday, October 2. Langley will attempt to advance on its 12-4 season record. The Highlanders come into the match with a 6-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over School Without Walls (Washington, DC).

With the loss, Yorktown drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to South Lakes (Reston, VA) to battle the Seahawks in a Class 6 Region D contest on Tuesday, October 2.
