California High School Basketball - Woodcreek holds off Granite Bay
January 13, 2011: Roseville, CA 95747 Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA), 58-51 in a league bout.
With the victory, Woodcreek upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Del Oro (Loomis, CA) to play the Golden Eagles in a Sierra Foothill bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a record of 14-3.
Next up, the Grizzlies play the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) in a Sierra Foothill bout, on Tuesday, January 18. Granite Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Miners come into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 67-54 league loss to Roseville (Roseville, CA).
