Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Aliquippa trounces Union Area

December 20, 2010: Aliquippa, PA 15001

The Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), 70-43 in Monday's league test.

The Quips (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Our Lady of Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Our Lady of Sacred Heart walloped Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA), 46-29, in a league test.

The Scotties now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 22. Union Area will clash with a Wolverine squad coming off a 79-44 league loss to Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA). The Wolverine record now stands at 2-3.
