In Saturday's non-league test, the host Cherry Creek Bruins ice hockey team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles.

The Bruins (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Liberty (Colorado Springs, CO). The Lancers enter the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Liberty was nipped by Denver East (Denver, CO), 7-3, in a league test.
