Virginia High School Football - Bird trounces Dale

September 2, 2016: Chester, VA 23831

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Bird Skyhawks football squad scored a big 33-0 victory over the Dale Knights.

In their next game, the Skyhawks clash with the Midlothian Trojans (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion match, on Thursday, September 8. Bird will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 33-13 non-league loss to Powhatan (Powhatan, VA).

The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Varina (Richmond, VA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Varina routed Norcom (Portsmouth, VA), 41-6, in a non-league match.
