In Thursday's league outing, the Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hyannis Longhorns (Hyannis, NE), by a margin of 68-33.

The Knights (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against St. Mary's (O'Neill, NE). The Cardinals go into the non-league outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, St. Mary's was trounced by Santee (Santee, NE), 64-52, in a league bout.
