The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Show Low Cougars (Show Low, AZ) and the visiting Combs Coyotes (San Tan Valley, AZ), observed Show Low's football squad thwart Combs by a tally of 49-22.

The Cougars now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Winslow for a IV Section I contest on Friday, October 2. Show Low will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 48-12 non-league win over Fountain Hills (Fountain Hills, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.

Coming up next, the Coyotes play the Florence Gophers (Florence, AZ) in a IV Section V contest, on Friday, October 2. Combs will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Gophers go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 20-12 non-league loss to Snowflake (Snowflake, AZ).
