December 30, 2008: Texarkana, TX 75503 The Pleasant Grove Hawks ran past the visiting Rusk Eagles basketball team by a final score of 59-39 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Hawks face the Arkansas Razorbacks (Texarkana, AR) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 6. Pleasant Grove will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Razorbacks enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 80-48 non-league win over Harrison (Harrison, AR).
With the defeat, Rusk moves to 0-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Diboll (Diboll, TX) to face the Lumberjacks in a 3A Region III District 18 test on Friday, January 2. The Lumberjacks go into the test with a record of 15-1. Diboll won 61-34 in their recent league test against Central (Pollok, TX)
