Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Shippensburg tops Northern York

January 13, 2017: Dillsburg, PA 17019

Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Northern York Polar Bears (Dillsburg, PA), 58-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Shippensburg upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 15. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 8-5. Chambersburg won 66-22 in their recent league bout against Mifflin County (Lewistown, PA)

Next up, the Polar Bears play the Milton Hershey Spartans (Hershey, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Northern York will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.
