Centennial Golden Hawks (Bakersfield, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA), 30-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Centennial upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Golden Hawks host Stockdale (Bakersfield, CA) to encounter the Mustangs in a bout on Thursday, January 13. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
