California High School Basketball - Mendez knocked off by Orthopaedic
January 17, 2017: Los Angeles, CA 90033 The Orthopaedic Vipers basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Mendez Jaguars to 42 in the Vipers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vipers now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to USC-MAE for a Freeway contest on Thursday, January 19. Orthopaedic will battle a Trojans team coming off a 87-14 league loss to Central City Value (Los Angeles, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-7.
The Jaguars (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Annenberg (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers enter the Freeway contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Annenberg ran past Animo Bunche (Los Angeles, CA), 45-37, in a league contest.
