DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL), 66-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, DeKalb upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Barbs travel to Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 21. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Neuqua Valley lost 62-60 in their recent non-league bout against Oswego (Oswego, IL)
