California High School Basketball - Palisades tops University
January 9, 2017: Pacific Palisades, CA 90272 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Palisades Dolphins (Pacific Palisades, CA) and the visiting University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA), saw Palisades's basketball squad knock off University by a tally of 73-59.
With the victory, Palisades improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Dolphins travel to Venice (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Gondoliers in a Western challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Gondoliers come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Venice won 57-55 in their recent league challenge against Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. University will attempt to improve on its 13-1 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 57-56 non-league win over Narbonne (Harbor City, CA).
