In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Athens Golden Eagles (Athens, AL) in a 6A Region 8 match, on Friday, September 4. Hartselle will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 45-7 non-league loss to James Clemens (Madison, AL).
