Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO) and the visiting Sand Creek Scorpions (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Lewis-Palmer's basketball squad wallop Sand Creek by a tally of 80-43.

With the victory, Lewis-Palmer improves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO) to confront the Thunder in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak challenge on Monday, January 14. The Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Discovery Canyon lost 51-44 in their recent league challenge against Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO)

Next up, the Scorpions confront the Cheyenne Mountain Indians (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak challenge, on Monday, January 14. Sand Creek will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 71-59 league win over Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO).
