October 28, 2016: New Kent, VA 23124 The New Kent Trojans football team (New Kent, VA), was tipped 16-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA)
The Islanders (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Tigers come into the Bay Rivers challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Tabb nipped Warhill (Williamsburg, VA), 42-21, in a league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lafayette for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 4. New Kent will meet a Rams team coming off a 57-3 league win over Bruton (Williamsburg, VA). The Rams record now stands at 8-0.
