Arizona High School Soccer - Mohave overwhelmed by Cortez
January 21, 2017: Bullhead City, AZ 86442 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Mohave Thunderbirds (Bullhead City, AZ), saw Cortez's soccer squad triumph over Mohave by a margin of 8-0.
The Colts now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Dysart for a 4A Black Canyon test on Tuesday, January 24. Cortez will meet a Demons squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Washington (Phoenix, AZ). The Demons record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Mohave drops to 8-6 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Lee Williams (Kingman, AZ) to meet the Volunteers in a 4A Grand Canyon test on Monday, January 23. The Volunteers come into the test with a record of 3-13. Lee Williams lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Prescott (Prescott, AZ)
