Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bonner Springs Braves (Bonner Springs, KS), 37-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valley Center upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Hornets host Arkansas City (Arkansas City, KS) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division II bout on Tuesday, December 16. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
