December 16, 2017: North Platte, NE 69101 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Norfolk Panthers (Norfolk, NE) and the host North Platte Bulldogs (North Platte, NE), saw Norfolk's basketball squad overcome North Platte by a tally of 53-41.
With the victory, Norfolk improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE) to confront the Monarchs in a A District TBD challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Papillion-LaVista lost 59-49 in their recent league challenge against Millard West (Omaha, NE)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the North Star Navigators (Lincoln, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Friday, December 22. North Platte will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Navigators come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 51-49 league loss to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE).
