With the triumph, Valley upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, September 8. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 2-0. Dawson-Bryant won 30-12 in their recent non-league test against Fairview (Ashland, KY)
Next, the Mohawks clash with the Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 8. Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Redstreaks go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 20-14 non-league win over Green (Franklin Furnace, OH).
