Colorado High School Basketball - Mountain Vista crushes Rocky Mountain

December 11, 2012: Highlands Ranch, CO 80126

Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rocky Mountain Lobos (Fort Collins, CO), 67-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mountain Vista upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 13. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Pueblo South lost 70-56 in their recent non-league bout against Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO)

Next up, the Lobos play the Greeley West Spartans (Greeley, CO) in a 5A Front Range bout, on Tuesday, December 18. Rocky Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 80-73 non-league win over Roosevelt (Johnstown, CO).
