Washington High School Football - Lincoln bests Mt. Tahoma
September 15, 2006: Tacoma, WA 98409 Fans at Friday's non-league match between the Lincoln Abes (Tacoma, WA) and the host Mt. Tahoma T-Birds (Tacoma, WA), witnessed Lincoln's football team top Mt. Tahoma by a tally of 27-7.
The Abes (2-1) will now prepare for their match against South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA). The Wolves enter the 4A Narrows - Bridge match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, South Kitsap topped Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA), 42-0, in a non-league game.
The T-Birds now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Bellarmine Prep for a 4A Narrows - Bay game on Friday, September 22. Mt. Tahoma will meet a Lions team coming off a 37-6 non-league win over Foss (Tacoma, WA). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.
