Illinois High School Basketball - Dundee-Crown can't hold off Highland Park
December 12, 2017: Highland Park, IL 60035 The Highland Park Giants basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Dundee-Crown Chargers to 40 in the Giants non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Giants now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vernon Hills for a Central Suburban - North contest on Friday, December 15. Highland Park will battle a Cougars team coming off a 58-49 non-league loss to Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 2-6.
The Chargers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cary-Grove (Cary, IL). The Trojans come into the Fox Valley contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Cary-Grove was nudged by Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL), 54-50, in a league contest.
