September 21, 2018: Jefferson, IA 50129 The Greene County Rams routed the visiting Shenandoah Mustangs football squad by a tally of 62-0 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Rams face the Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) in a 2A District 9 bout, on Friday, September 28. Greene County will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 45-14 league win over Atlantic (Atlantic, IA).
The Mustangs (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Red Oak (Red Oak, IA). The Tigers enter the 2A District 9 bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Red Oak walloped Battle Creek-Ida Grove/Odebolt-Arthur (Ida Grove, IA), 24-19, in a league bout.
