Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Langham Creek Lobos (Houston, TX), 79-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Cypress Lakes upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Spartans travel to Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 6A Region III District 17 bout on Friday, January 12. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Cy-Fair lost 59-45 in their recent league bout against Cypress Falls (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Lobos play the Cypress Woods Wildcats (Cypress, TX) in a 6A Region III District 17 bout, on Friday, January 12. Langham Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-15 record after their 59-56 league win over Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX).
