Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tri-Valley edges Mahanoy Area

January 19, 2018: Hegins, PA 17938

The Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Mahanoy Area Golden Bears (Mahanoy City, PA), 47-42 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Millersburg (Millersburg, PA). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Millersburg was tipped by Newport (Newport, PA), 57-53, in a league test.

The Golden Bears now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Our Lady of Lourdes Regional for a non-league test on Monday, January 22. Mahanoy Area will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 69-60 non-league win over Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 11-3.
