Iowa High School Football - Pleasantville drops to Interstate 35
October 12, 2018: Truro, IA 50257 In Friday's league game, the Interstate 35 Roadrunners (Truro, IA) football team knocked off the visiting Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA), by a score of 35-14.
The Roadrunners (8-0) will now prepare for their game against Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Eagles come into the 1A District 7 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Pella Christian toppled Woodward-Granger (Woodward, IA), 45-22, in a league game.
The Trojans now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodward Academy for a 1A District 7 game on Friday, October 19. Pleasantville will battle a Knights team coming off a 68-50 league loss to Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA). The Knights record now stands at 2-6.
