The The Woodlands Highlanders football squad scored 36 points and restricted the visiting Spring Lions to 7 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Thursday.

The Highlanders now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Katy for a non-league battle on Friday, September 9. The Woodlands will play a Tigers squad coming off a 50-49 non-league win over Klein Collins (Spring, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Lions play the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 9. Spring will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Hurricanes enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 51-0 non-league loss to Lamar (Houston, TX).
