October 19, 2018: Narrows, VA 24124 The Craig County Rockets football team (New Castle, VA), was ripped 56-20 in Friday's league challenge with the host Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA)
The Green Waves (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Chargers come into the Pioneer challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Bath County was ripped by McCluer (Buena Vista, VA), 26-15, in a league challenge.
The Rockets now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Covington for a Pioneer challenge on Friday, October 26. Craig County will meet a Cougars team coming off a 28-16 league win over Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-3.
