Kansas High School Basketball - Moundridge falls to Conway Springs
February 6, 2010: Conway Springs, KS 67031 The Conway Springs Cardinals basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Moundridge Wildcats to 45 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cardinals now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bluestem for a Central Plains contest on Tuesday, February 9. Conway Springs will confront a Lions team coming off a 50-41 league loss to Anthony-Harper-Chaparral (Anthony, KS). The Lions record now stands at 8-7.
With the defeat, Moundridge moves to 10-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Goessel (Goessel, KS) to face the Bluebirds in a Heart of America game on Tuesday, February 9. The Bluebirds enter the game with a record of 10-6. Goessel won 45-41 in their recent league game against Inman (Inman, KS)
